ArtsByKev’s Minecraft History

ArtsByKev has been an active Minecraft creator since before 2014, with roots tracing all the way back to the game's late Alpha and Classic stages in 2009, leading up to the official 2011 release. Over the years, Kevin has collaborated with prestigious build teams - including Pandora's Blocks and the Hypixel Build Team - worked directly with Mojang, and partnered with several of the most recognized Minecraft content creators in the scene.

Long before becoming an expert in Blockbench, Kevin was an avid user of Cubik for voxels and 3D assets, having worked with resource packs and custom assets for well over a decade.

With his origins deeply rooted in the Minecraft building scene, Kevin’s focus remains on "player-first" world-building. Over the years, he has designed vibrant social arenas for interaction, as well as rich roleplaying worlds where players come together to build everlasting stories.

ArtsByKev’s Blockbench History

Kevin opened Blockbench for the very first time on August 7th, 2020.

By September of that same year, he was already consistently producing increasingly ambitious and complex models alongside his video tutorials. Today, ArtsByKev’s creations have been seen by hundreds of millions of people across the global Minecraft and gaming communities.

Spanning the online world, his Blockbench assets are featured everywhere from the official Minecraft Marketplace to video content for multi-million-subscriber YouTubers. These creations helped clients generate over $500,000 in 2021 alone - a figure that has grown exponentially since those early days.
